Patti Page本名為Clara Ann Fowler，是1950年代的美國當紅歌手。2013年1月在加州(California)病逝，享年85歲。

成名曲包括《The Tennessee Waltz》、《How Much is that Doggie in the Window？》。

我很喜歡"Moon River"這首歌，非常多歌手翻唱過，這首原唱者是Jerry Butler，但似乎是翻唱者比較出名，Patti Page也包括在翻唱者名單內；

"Moon River"這首歌甚至在奧黛麗赫本主演的 " Breakfast at Tiffanys " 電影裡也成為主題曲，經典不過。

這是一首鵝媽媽童謠，如下：

這首詩除了語意上小孩不乖媽媽生氣等等的意思之外，可能也在暗指

住在那一隻鞋的老女人(大英帝國)嘗試控制它的殖民地；

義大利的形狀為一雙長靴或鞋子。

但是在這首詩來說是指大不列顛群島；

老女人是國會，

她無法在相當廣布的大英帝國照料她的許多殖民的孩子。

計程車除了一般說法taxi之外，常用的還有cab這個單字，有人說cab是英式用法，

但其實在紐約也很常見，美國影集裡也很常出現。

在英國，雙層巴士和當地的黑色計程車通稱「Black Cab」。
